CARING FOR YOUR RUG

KTS Rugs in general are easy to care for. With proper and regular care the life of rugs can be enhanced by years. Vacuum the rug on a regular basis.

In case of spillage do not rub. Blot and lift (do not saturate) with a clean washed absorbent cloth or paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Greasy spots may be tended with mild shampoo. Apply enough mild shampoo to cover stain and let it soak for about 5 minutes. Then apply warm water (not hot water) and blot with clean, white cloth or paper towels. Press down firmly to remove as much moisture as possible. Repeat until no stain is evident on cloth or towels. Avoid harsh detergents. Pure woollen rugs have natural soil repellence, and harsh detergents may damage or harm the natural oils of your rug.

When completely dry, vacuum or brush the pile to restore texture.

After drying, if there is a ghost stain, repeat above process.
