"The third Comolongmo Fair ‘Experience the Magic of
Nepal’, offering an extensive selection of fair trade products
from Nepal, will be at London’s Spitalfields Market on Saturday
30 October. Comolongmo was established to promote Nepalese fair
trade products and the rugs produced by the Kumbeshwar Technical
School (founded in 1983 for socially and economically deprived
pupils, to help alleviate poverty). The organisation holds a competition
each year for school children to design a carpet. The three winning
entries are made into rugs and will shown at the fair."
